Sarah and Mark’s love began long before their special day would come. The two are high school sweethearts and share a profound love for music and art. Their backyard wedding was booming with bold and vibrant décor. The lush greenery and surrounding mountains created a breathtaking view. Love was definitely in the air as the couple said “I do.”
Guests enjoyed a beautiful and intimate evening at the bride’s family residence where they delighted in food, live music, a D.J. and dancing under a colorfully lit tent, which added the perfect pop to the retro-punch design. This retro-punch style was also evident in the invitations, signage, and programs.
The ceremony took place in front of a tree that was whimsically draped in multicolored silk flowers Décor consisted of round tables, some draped in teal linens, some draped in pacifica linens, perfectly mix-matched with the opposite colors napkins, but all were scattered with metallic and colorful confetti. Each table also featured 5 simple vases containing locally grown flowers of various shades of blue, white, yellow, orange, and pink.
Their sweetheart table was sitting in front of a backdrop that was handmade by the bride Sarah. The backdrop had roughly 700 pieces of colored materials tied to its base. The vast size, vivid colors, and fun texture made it a dimensional piece that guests couldn’t help but notice, while perfectly representing Mark and Sarah’s exciting love.
Guests danced the night away in the tent, followed by a little after-party at the house where family continued to celebrate the beautiful day, and the start of this couple’s new life together.
